Security Bank’s visionary leadership team made the strategic move to expand into Lennox, SD, extending their trusted services to new communities and deepening their commitment to rural banking. The decision to build a brand-new, state-of-the-art building reflects Security Bank’s long-term vision to be a trusted partner and leading community bank across rural South Dakota and Minnesota.

In September 2024, Security Bank began serving the community from a modular space while construction was underway, ensuring access to services without delay. Today, this location proudly serves not only Lennox, but surrounding rural communities as well. The building will also serve as Security Bank's corporate office.

On July 24, 2025, the bank proudly celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony alongside community leaders. The doors officially opened on July 25, marking the start of a new chapter for both Security Bank and the Lennox community.
