Security Bank’s ideal Marketing and Creative Specialist candidate has a solid marketing background with professional experience concepting, creating and producing a variety of materials including creative content for a wide range of communications channels including social media, websites, advertisements, brochures, signage, print materials and more. The Marketing and Creative Specialist will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will office in Sioux Falls.
The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, be creative, resourceful, solution-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to generate branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, website imagery, social media content, email, direct mail, posters, signage and advertising.
- Conceptualize, develop and implement high-impact design and content solutions for a variety of marketing communication channels that align with and support marketing strategies from concept to completion. Ensure all content is well-written, accurate and consistently aligns with the Security Bank brand.
- Day-to-day coordination, support and execution of marketing and creative deliverables. Manage all creative assets to ensure alignment with the brand across all marketing, sales and customer service channels.
- Continuously maintain the bank’s brand aesthetics, internally and externally.
- Update and maintain the bank’s website via a CMS.
- Maintain and grow the bank’s social media presence.
- Help launch an external email marketing program, create and deploy content.
- Coordinate with vendors and advertising agencies as needed.
- Review and track data and analytics, prepare reports and stats.
- Manage marketing compliance records.
- Occasional travel to bank branches to support events and opportunities in the communities.
- Build long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned. We are all about teamwork and being successful, your skill may be needed in other areas/avenues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, mass communication or similar relevant field.
- Three to five years of marketing experience including graphic design work.
- Strong marketing skills and understanding of business principles.
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful creative content for marketing programs and campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communications, proofreading, copywriting and editing with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge of current graphic design and related software applications.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices for marketing communications, content marketing and graphic design.
- Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and efficiently.
Knowledge of printing procedures, photography, videography, animation, illustration, establishing graphics for print and digital use.
- Practical experience using a website CMS and administering social media platforms.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and with teams.
