Security Bank’s ideal Marketing and Creative Specialist candidate has a solid marketing background with professional experience concepting, creating and producing a variety of materials including creative content for a wide variety of communications channels including social media, websites, advertisements, brochures, signage, print materials and more.

The Marketing and Creative Specialist will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will office in Sioux Falls. The successful candidate will be creative, experienced, resourceful, solution-oriented, enthusiastic and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with marketing leadership and sales teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, website imagery, social media content, email, direct mail, posters, signage and advertising.
  • Conceptualize and implement design and content solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion.
  • Develop branded content and high-impact graphics and visual content for a variety of marketing communications channels.
  • Day-to-day coordination, support and execution of marketing and creative deliverables.
  • Manage all creative assets to ensure alignment with the brand across all marketing, sales and customer service channels.
  • Continuously maintain the bank’s brand aesthetics, internally and externally.
  • Update and maintain the bank’s website via a CMS.
  • Develop, build and maintain social media presence.
  • Help launch an email program, create and deploy content.
  • Manage print inventory for brochures, stationery, business cards, signage, posters and other materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors and advertising agencies as needed.
  • Review and track data and analytics, prepare reports and stats.
  • Maintain a log of external communications and advertising for compliance records.
  • Support community and employee event planning and execution.
  • Occasional travel to bank branches; develop and support marketing needs and opportunities in the communities.
  • Build long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors, stakeholders and participate in community networking groups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, mass communication or similar relevant field.
  • Three to five years of marketing or graphic design experience.
  • Strong marketing skills and graphics acumen. Understanding of business principles.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful creative content for marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Advanced knowledge of current graphic design and related software applications including Adobe Creative Suite software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere, Canva and others.
  • Ability to think creatively, problem solve, multi-task and deliver quality work in an efficient manner.
  • Strong understanding of all marketing channels and the latest trends and techniques.
  • Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of printing procedures, photography, illustration, establishing graphics for print and digital use.
  • Practical experience with marketing tools and related software, including familiarity with using a website CMS and administering social media platforms.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices for marketing communications, content marketing and graphic design.
  • Strong proofreader, editor with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Photography skills a plus.
  • Customer-centric.

Security Bank is looking to add a Mortgage Banker to our team!

We are seeking an energetic individual to lead our mortgage lending department in Jackson, MN. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and progressive individual that is willing to work with clients and grow the mortgage lending portfolio for Security Bank.

Primary Duties:

  • Solicit and receive new mortgage loan applications by developing relationships within the community, specifically with the real estate community and making calls to potential customers.
  • Work with clients to determine which type of mortgage fits their needs.
  • Perform duties within the credit function of mortgage loans following established lending policies and complying with all state and federal regulations.
  • Staying apprised of the existing and emerging compliance requirements and recommending changes as necessary.
  • Analyze financial status of client, credit, and property evaluation to determine the granting of a loan request.
  • Align mortgage activity according to bank strategies.
  • Negotiate terms of loans with clients.
  • Direct and participate in the closing of approved residential real estate loan transactions, ensuring all required closing documents are prepared and executed correctly.

  • Experienced in originating mortgage loans
  • Must possess thorough understanding of mortgage loan documents, processing, closing, regulatory compliance and mortgage loan underwriting.
