Security Bank is seeking a Vice President of Insurance Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for selling and marketing new clients. Vice President of Insurance Manager needs to be a highly motivated individual who can lead the development and growth of an insurance department.

The Vice President of Insurance will report directly to the Bank President and will be officed in our Lennox, SD location. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced sales leader who provides expert level of property and casualty, crop, farm, and commercial insurance and sales guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Build an insurance presence in the bank while providing leadership and guidance by overseeing all facets of insurance.
  • Develop a prospect client base and market insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business.
  • Identify client’s needs, market appropriate products to clients, compile insurance quotes and process all policies.
  • Educate clients on types of insurance coverages and make recommendations based on client’s needs.
  • Provide high-level service to our clients while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients. This service is needed during the entire customer cycle, including booking appointments, inquire response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions, and questions concerning billing and insurance policies.
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
  • Foster long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors, stakeholders and participate in community networking groups.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum ten years of experience in an insurance producing role.
  • Property and casualty experience with emphasis in crop, farm, and commercial.
  • Knowledge of agriculture, livestock, and multi-peril crop insurance and specialty programs.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, and markets.

Overview:

Security Bank is seeking a Vice President Commercial Banker position in Lennox, South Dakota. The Vice President Commercial Banker will report directly to the Bank President. This position requires someone who can easily build relationships, has strong business lending knowledge and can market and grow a new territory for Security Bank.

The Vice President Commercial Banker is expected to manage large and complex commercial loan clients, as well as have a robust understanding of the commercial market and lending regulations. The successful candidate should reside in or near Lennox, South Dakota.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the bank’s strong relationship banking culture through ongoing client contact, quality service and product knowledge.
  • Originate, process, and service loans in accordance with the loan policy, guidelines, and complying with all State and Federal regulations.
  • Analyze client’s financial status, conduct site visits and collateral evaluations to make lending decisions.
  • Negotiate rates and terms of loans with clients and management within set guidelines.
  • Responsible for developing new commercial business relationships while making sound decisions and exhibiting good credit judgment.

Security Bank’s Credit Analyst position is for an individual wanting to gain knowledge and make a career in the banking world. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing credit information on current and potential clients, and support loan officers when preparing and processing loans. The Credit Analyst will be the primary support role for loan officers, including building relationships with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of financial credits and reports for presentation for loan officers or committees.
  • Analyze the financial statement; evaluate the information and prepare written reports for the lender.
  • Advise loan officers about expiring lines of credit and assist in the renewal of the line.

Responsibilities:

  • Process deposit and withdrawal transactions based on the Bank’s policies and procedures.
