Kent Gethmann is Security Bank’s Market President in Minnesota. A native of Delano, MN, he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a major in Finance and a minor in Real Estate. Kent also received a degree in banking from the Graduate School of Banking Colorado (GSBC). He is responsible for the management of Security Bank’s two Minnesota branches as well as Commercial and Agriculture Lending.

Kent began his career with Security Bank in 2024. Before that he was VP-Commercial Lending with Farmers Bank in Spencer, IA for seven years, VP CTL & Structured Debt Products with Mesirow Financial in Chicago, IL for three years and Vice President with Broadview CTL Capital in Omaha, NE for nine years.

Kent and his wife, Kahley, reside in Spencer, IA with their 3 boys: Teagan, Jax, and Beckham. He enjoys being able to spend time with friends and family, golfing, the Okoboji lakes area, and being involved in his boys' sports and activities. Kent serves as President of the Spencer Tailtwisters Sports Booster Club and is a board member as Treasure of Spencer Golf & Country Club.
