About Brad

Brad brings a valuable comprehensive agricultural perspective to Security Bank. A lifelong resident of Jackson County, Brad’s expertise is rooted in the family corn and soybean farm where he was raised. This early foundation led him to the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, where he earned a degree in Animal and Plant Systems with an emphasis on Crop Production. 

Brad’s professional journey is a testament to his commitment to the local ag economy. With 15 years of experience in seed production and sales—most recently at NuWay Cooperative and as an operations manager for an independent seed company—he understands the operational challenges farmers face. Complementing this technical knowledge is his 9-year tenure as a Vice President and Agricultural Lender, a role where he solidified his reputation for dedicated community service.

Back in the lending world at Security Bank, Brad utilizes his dual background in agronomy and finance to provide tailored solutions for his customers. When he isn’t at the bank, Brad, enjoys time with his wife, Ann and their three daughters: Mackenzie, Samantha, and Isabelle.  Brad and Samantha continue to operate the family farm north of Jackson.
